There are many, many more Android phones than iPhones as a matter of sheer unit numbers sold, but the iOS App market is significantly larger than you'd realise from those unit numbers (and larger than the Google Store market), because - inter alia - iPhone users (a) tend to live in richer countries, (b) tend to be more well-off, and (c) tend to spend more money on apps.Ī similar logic applies to Mac and Linux. Custom shaders should not be a problem, as Vulkan and OpenGL should be supported on anything recent and the PS 5 is among the supported platforms.

That should not be too much effort though, as they have already done so for C:S I.

Do not know how that is with Unity, but cross-compiling can still be a pain, so you would want to run the build command on a Mac, where one would have to setup a compilation environment.

As far as I know there exist several security mechanisms on Apple systems requiring the application to be properly signed and to supply some information on what the application is (or is not) allowed to do.

(Though I have neither Apple nor Unity experience, so take my claims with a grain of salt.) There are some more minor changes required.
